i bought a Pachira aquatica ( i think, based on pics i'vee seen here) from ikea a month ago and it has alreay sprouted 3 new huge leaves. i just moved the plant from a north facing window towards the interior of the room (under a skylight), and one old small leaf has now turned beige. i'm not too worried because the rest of the plant looks fine, but i do want to know if these plants can become root bound easily. i don't mind repotting, but i do live in a condo so can't hav it grow 80 ft tall. ;) should i just trim off the leaves as they turn yellow and hope new ones grow or should i be repotting?
