    Re: Container friendly varieties?

Where can you recommend purchasing container friendly maples in the GVRD area?
I would love to get one like on the Momiji Nursery site.
What would be the name I ask for when I am at the nursery?

Wait til spring - now is not the time to be planting new trees.

I bought a Japanese maple in the early 90's from a nursery in the Southlands area (south of Southwest Marine Drive in Vancouver); it did well as patio plant for a number of years. (The tree now lives in a garden in Victoria.) I'd have thought that the next 4-6 weeks would not be a bad time for repotting or planting a tree in the lower mainland area.

Could you provide a name or address?
This is all in preparation for spring.
