Container grown, 2' high...?

    Container grown plant, 2' high. Not sure of it's history. Any thoughts?

    It looks a bit like a Coleus to me but have you any more pics of the whole plant to confirm?

    This plant has woody stems, not soft. This is the only pic we have as it's not in our garden.

    This is probably a polygonum (knot weed)--a Persicaria, I should think. Note the membranous, clasping petiole base and the classic chevron pattern on the leaf. Flowers, fruit, or at least an overall shot of the habit would be useful for identifying it to species. Doubtfully actually woody.
