    Hello everyone.
I have 4 medium container citrus in my living room, facing EES, they look great but I was thinking maybe a variety of shallow rooting companions that can also do spring-summer outdoors; any suggestions?
    Thank you!

I would not recommend any companion plants for a citrus container. The main reason is you want good air flow around the trunk. If there are leaves around the base of the trunk it will decrease air flow and prevent the trunk from drying as quickly as possible. A trunk that does not dry quickly sets up the perfect conditions for collar rot. This is why I also trim branches that are too low to the ground.

Also, keep in mind citrus normally have roots very close to the surface and citrus are heavy feeders. Having another plant competing with the citrus is not ideal.
