Identification: Conifer ID needed.

    I have never seen this tree before. It's in Tacoma, Wa. It has characteristics from several species.

    It looks like Cunninghamia lanceolata. The only thing that gives me pause is your statement about characteristics from several species. When I saw my first Cunninghamia, I thought I'd never seen anything like it.

    Yes: Cunninghamia. A. L. Jacobson said in Trees of Seattle - Second Edition (2008) "In Seattle, common yet often called rare because it's so little known".
