Identification: Conifer, Cumbria, UK

    Hello :)

    I'd like an ID on this conifer that's growing nearby in our communal area. I'm mostly interested in the growth rate as I may take cuttings. Not sure if its wild or a deliberate planting but most likely deliberate. Ideally need to know the exact species if possible. I can take more photos tomorrow if needed (light is fading now). It's a rural location and up in the hills somewhat, also fairly exposed. Anything else just ask, although I am a complete novice at gardening.

    Thank you again Ron B. Will use this one, along with some local hawthorn and maybe a climber on the fence to reduce exposure in the garden.
