    Hello,

I live in Vancouver and have a balcony that faces Northwest. (Lots of sun all day in the summer -- when there is any! -- and good light year-round.) I would like to plant confederate jasmine in a window box, and train it down the front of the balcony and back up the other side. I would appreciate help/advice with the following questions:

    1. Will a large window box provide enough soil and drainage?
    2. Can confederate jasmine be trained in this way?
    3. Will it work well in the weather and climate conditions I have described?
    4. And, where can I buy it???

Many thanks in advance for any help!
    Best,

Cool aspect and placement in container subject to freezing in winter probably both prove unsuitable. Planter probably freezes all the way through during cold spells, requiring the use of extra hardy plants unless only summer annuals are to be employed.
