We have concord grapes for the first time although the vines have been around 3 years - we did not plant them, but must have had some help from our bird friends or something! When can I expect to harvest them for this area. Usually i buy them at the side of the road market about mid September - I think.

If they really are concords, it won't be long. Mine have just started to ripen in the last few days.
Had the first couple of bunches for dessert : )

they started out green and now are purple - usually up here in the Toledo area I buy them at the road markets about the 2-3 rd week of September - that's why I thought they are about on that schedule.

Just because they turn purple does not mean they are ripe, concord grapes are fully ripe, only when on walking by you can smell their aroma.
