    hey all

so i'm a urban homesteader and am looking for an evergreen climber for my south facing fence, MUST have something edible on it...those are the rules of engagement at our place. native to australia, but here my Mediterranean plants grow like stink.

think i could grow one? know where i can find some in bc? would it die/be invasive/freeze to death?

runner up is hardy kiwi (actinidia arguta) but i'd love to have something odd.

    thanks for the info!
