I got 2 tiny Columbines last year from friends and planted and them and this year they have flowered profusely and now are making these crowns of seed pots standing up. Do I cut the leaves away they start looking grey ( I have other perennials in the back they need light) and can i use these seeds and put them in other areas right away or again do I have to freeze them or plant only next year.

    Thank you so much.
