Re: Pruning Big-Leaf Hydrangea to control size

I don't have a problem with pruning, my problem is the color. I bought an endless summer hydrangea which is supposed to be bluish to purplish. I have white with pink on some of the blooms. What am I doing wrong. Should I be pruning?

Pink indicates your soil is too sweet, you need to acidify it with aluminum sulfate. Apply it this year for bluer blooms next year. the more acid the soil the bluer the flower.
