Hello! I hope this picture isn't too blurry...

I found it at the University I'm attending and it was one of the only ones without a tag. The vendor didn't know what it was either. The stem is red, as are much of the leaves. Green and white on the leaves as well.

Does anyone know what it is and how to take care of it?

    Thanks for looking! :)

    Variety of Croton, perhaps?

Looks like a coleus to me, similar to this one.

I'm rather inclined to agree with the Coleus theory. If it IS a Coleus tho, those white parts probably mean something not so good.

I took another 3 pictures to see if I could get a better look, but this single was the best I could do...

It's similar to the Sparkler cultivar.

Are the leaves leathery / "plastic" -textured, or soft, slightly downy?

Mine is near identical to the picture Junglekeeper provided! Thanks! Sparkler... hmm.

The leaves are a soft texture. :)

    Soft texture fits Coleus.
