Does anyone have a schedule for spraying Codling Moth? I have been having trouble with this insect the last three years and have studied quite a lot about it. I have been using Spinosad early in the season to protect bees, and Carbaryl after that. The way I read information on the West Coast University Extension sites is that the eggs are hatching constantly after Biofix which is about May 5th in our area. Using Degree Days as shown online by our local Extenion Office I can see when the next spraying is necessary. The problem is that the
label states that the product can only be used a few times which usually runs out before the end of the season.
Should I be spraying for the start of each hatch and forget in between?
