I would like help on finding a beautiful native tree to plant on my deceased dog at my beach house. I would like a flowering ornamental tree if possible. Any suggestions??
Callistemon viminalis is a good candidate. It grows quickly, has a beautiful weeping habit, and beautiful red flowers.
How about Jacksonia scoparia, Australian dogwood? More of a small tree/shrub, but should do well by the beach....can't compete with Lorax's suggestion for showiness, though.
