Hello, Acer pentaphyllum is a deciduous temperate species which originates from Southern Sichuan Province in China. Where you live, Malaysia, I would not be concerned with cold hardiness but with enough cooling for adequate vernalization. What are the lowest temperatures in your place in a normal year? Gomero
hi i have one pentaphyllum is 5 years old ,and is in good health he grown about 20 cm/year .i have clay soil and i add pine bark and mature cow fertilize
