I have saved many clematis seeds last year and stored them in dry paper envelops in the dark .
I have several arches in the garden that actually support clematis growing from large pots.
Some clematis seem to survive and grow fast from existing vines they rush to the top where one can not really look at them close I want to start new plant with other form of containers. This is my 3rd year with Clematis the winter 08 killed all of them..
I have mini green houses available for seedling.
    What does anyone recommend ?
Growing them right away from the place where they should grow
or is seedlings in protected green house more recommended?
How deep to put these feathery seeds?

    Thank you.

PS: Last question if I want to transplant an allready growing CLEMATIS vine into a bigger container can I do this NOW in early spring if the root ball goes completly into a bigger pot with much disturbance?
