This plant was introduced at the 2017 Chelsea Flower Show and is said to have "shocked the plant world with blooms unlike any seen before on a clematis vine". The bicolor flowers have uniquely incurved sepals, creating a bloom that looks almost like a passion flower. It is also very unusual in the fact that the flower form continues to change as it matures. Listed on line as hardy to zone 6 (tag says zone 2 and my mother had hers survive the winter in zone 3), this vine is said to only get 6 - 7ft tall. ...I picked this little vine up from Canadian Tire last fall where it was on clearance for $4.99
