Found in Mt Rainier Natl Park near Carbon River trail (Pierce County). Long branching flower stems seem to match. Posting because C. washingtoniana not currently on WTC plant list for Pierce County.

Flowers had not yet opened unfortunately.

That would be my conclusion as well.

I've had a second look at this, and I think now that is more likely C. sibirica. What made you lean toward C. washingtoniana?
