Hello, Here's another Chrysanthemum, I think. coronatum? The plants are a joy to see -- clumps that are 3-4 ft tall and several feet across, all covered in gold flowers. They are part of the landscaping on the corner of my street.

Image search for Chrysanthemum coronatum produces something else. This one resembles a marigold (Tagetes in leaf and flower, although the ray flowers are rather numerous, suggesting a coreopsis.

I've been meaning to thank you for your comments, and I've been trying to find someone here to look at the plants to identify them in person. One local gardener has suggested that they may be a type of Euryops. Best, Karen
