I have a Christmas cactus that was left out and did get semi- frosted. It's been indoors for a week now and looks mostly the same. One half is fine. The other side seems semi-soft, but I can't tell if it's going to die or not. Should I leave it in the window and see what happens, or cut off the softer pieces?
Hi Daniel, No one gave me an answer (at least that I could find), so I opted to cut off the softer parts. The woody stem remains in tact, and the half that was not injured is blooming. I guess I will find out if the half I tremoved the softer pieces from will bloom again at some point. I believe I am going to move them into a larger pot with fresh soil. Thank you for the reply.
