Listed - along with other species in the genus - for the Washington Park Arboretum, Seattle in 1994. I have seen the specimens there in the past but have not checked identifications or even looked at them for years.

Listed as being offered by Colvos Creek nursery, Vashon, WA by THE PLANT LOCATOR - WESTERN REGION in 2004. Have also seen it offered by Uyeda nursery, Lynnwood, WA in the past. Some time ago this long-established Japanese-descent family operation became Emery's Garden. I don't remember seeing any of the "Sanshyo" there in later years.

Does anyone know if it might be available anywhere in the Lower Mainland of BC?

    Thanks!

(But I'm intrigued by the fact that you have better knowledge in Kingston of the inventory of the Van Dusen seed racks than I do, living only a few kilometres away.)

Wow! I didn't realize they had a website for their seed store. (Or maybe I did once run across it and never made the connection.)

    Thanks.
