I have a Chinese Evergreen with the Silver Queen coloring. It was given to me by a coworker a few years ago and started as a woody branch with one new leaf on it that was still rolled up, and two new leaves, still rolled up, coming out from the soil. After a couple years it became pot-bound and I replanted it in a new, much bigger pot and then it grew really quickly and got really big compared to what it was when I first got it. It's about 8 inches tall and the foliage is about 16 inches wide. Anyway, recently, within the past few months, a number of the outermost leaves have turned yellow. They actually look really pretty when they're yellow, and they don't dry up and shrivel right away. They usually stay like that for a long time before they dry up. But I'm just worried about the health of my plant. I never noticed yellow leaves before a few months ago and now there are currently 3 of them on the plant and one or two of them had already fallen off. Is this maybe a sign that it needs to be repotted again? Thanks!
http://www.guide-to-houseplants.com/chinese-evergreen.html Do you keep the soil evenly moist? Is the plant exposed to cold, or bright sunlight? Second Michael's request for photos. The yellow leaves may be due to normal aging of the plant.
