It's probably the same one you're thinking of. What is it that you don't think you can do?

Iwas reading that the plant doesn't like a lot of water! and that pebbles under the pot is a good idea.. so maybe i am drowning this poor plant?
In the shops they sell a lot of bamboo in glass with the pebbles, that's why i was trying it with this one. thanks marjoni

It's not that it doesn't like water, it just can get along without very much (or at least without being watered very often), but I give mine some everyday and it seems happy - if it wasn't it would turn yellow or something. One thing it doesn't like is bright light, so don't keep it in a bright window, though of course not in the dark! But what do you mean by 'pebbles under the pot' - are you talking about a humidity tray set-up or something else - try to be clear. Bamboo in glass is a different plant, actually not bamboo at all, but dracaena, and what works for one plant could kill another one, so don't go by that.

yes the pebble tray was for humidity i was reading the advice from greenleaf to the pachira thread!
But you know what..i bought another one this morning and this one had some more info on the plant and it is a.. DRACAENA FRAGRANS MASSANGEANA wel that is a mouth full he? but that means that i can put it in water! maybe here in australia we call it a money tree as well. THanks for your help.

There are a few different plants out there known as 'Money Trees' but don't confuse Pachira and Dracaena (which I think maybe the 'Lucky Bamboo' everyone's been selling for ages). They're very different and have different requirements.
