    hi everyone,
great and informative forum you have here.
i am new here and i basically grow chillies.

i have a question, this march i am going to sow 10 different varieties of chilli.
each variety will be in a separte large pot.
my question is, will i have to keep them apart when they flower so that the varieties will not mix?
or i can keep them in the same area.

also i have heared that there exists some spary to pollinate the flower do you know what is it called?

    thanks for your help.

Even if they cross pollinate, which I don't know if they can, it won't effect the fruit if those plants. It will determine the properties of the friut of the plant grown from the seeds of the plants you now have.

If your objective for pollination is seeds, it will matter if they cross pollinate, but the spray you asked about won't help that. You are probably asking about Giberrelic Acid or GA3 as it is a mixture of plant hormones. It can fool the plant into thinking that it has been pollinated, however unless it actually was pollinated, it probably won't have seeds. Also the concentration is critical to get the desired response.
