Cherries dying! help! i have 2 different cherries, a Hanson cherry bush and a cherry tree.

one cherry bush has died i think, the symptoms are the leaves just turn brown the whole leaf. on the next bush beside it it is also going, but the leaves are slightly green, then a branch at the time is turning completely brown and looks dead.

is this a root thing or a fungus? i don't see anyting visable on the leaves top or bottom. there is some mold looking stuff on the thistle near by (now extracted)

any ideas? do i need a systemic or what. i think i sprayed it with a fruit tree spray that is for cherry trees among others (after the symptoms of death)

    help.
