    Hello
What is the most effective way to prevent and/or eliminate the suckers from my ornamental cherry tree. It is a grafted tree and has sent up many suckers all over the place

You just have to keep cutting them off.

There is a product (or products) made from the plant hormone NAA that controls suckers and water sprouts. I believe one application works for about six months (as I recall from a conversation with a representative at a trade show), but I cannot remember the name of the product.
