I have a cherry tree, no idea which variety but the guy we bought the house from said they were eaters. I have attached a few photos. Things were going fine, fruit started to grow and then all of a sudden, it stopped at the point you can see in the photographs. The only thing I did was prune three high branches off the top so that I could carefully put the netting in place to stop the birds eating the fruit. This was preceeded by a fortnight of very heavy rain.

Do you have any ideas as to the possible reason why.
