We have just discovered a cherry tree at the back of our new property in the Okanagan. It is laden with ripe fruit and covered with ants. They have bored into the fruit and can be found racing up and down the trunk and limbs. Questions are: Should we remove the fruit now and dispose of it, or leave it on the tree? and What can we do to control this problem next year?

    Many thanks!
