Cherry Blossom Identification

    can anyone help me identify this cherry blossom, and where it might be found?

    Looks more like a peach or apricot: flowers singly (not in clusters) and short-stalked.

    Hi Michael:

    Thanks for the quick reply. Do you have any idea where I can get a definitive answer? I live in NY and I have already contacted the NY and Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. I need to find these for a photo shoot! I have one more picture of a second one that I will add to this thread. The person who gave me the images said that one was from China and one from N. America...if that is any help. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Lisa

    I'd say peach rather than apricot, coloring and shape of petals typical.
