That’s a shame..I’m not sure whether black lace needs a lot of sun protection but it seems to like where it is..

These are really nice Ukigumo-s with lots of really white leaves!
Are they in the shade in the afternoon?

I've got a small one, and I am not sure where to put it.

I hope R @dicky5ash doesn't mind me piping in here. But to your question C. Lots and lots of shade is needed for this one.

It's not permanent but I think it sort of works, for now.

8 hours of full sun initiates transitions sooner rather than later.

That is some kind of colour!! Excuse the poor landscaping that I’m behind on, but that Red Dragon is on fire!

9 out my 11 JMs were 1 gallon trees. It’s going to be fun watching them grow over the years.

It has been raining quite a lot here for the past week which is triggering a lot of new growth.

Here is Hana Matoi’s new growth

Good evening everyone, I haven't been on the forum for several days, due to family matters etc etc. But as the temperatures are at 32°C in my garden atm, I thought why not take a few photos to show how my maples are coping.
They are Koyasan, Moonrise, Sister ghost, Olsen's frosted strawberry, Lileeanes Jewel, Uncle ghost, Purple ghost, Karusagawa and Amagi shigure.

It might be a few days again till I'm back, but I will be watching for other members photos to drool over....

    Keep cool everyone.

Although receiving only about 2 hours of direct sun the difference between what receives that light and what doesn't is dramatic.
