@GreenLarry good afternoon Larry, your photos appear to me to be Acer saccharum. Can't see the leaves too clearly though.

@GreenLarry looks like Acer platanoides to me. Grey bark is the give away, although I can't see the leaves clearly.
Lovely Autumnal photo from Darlington Larry.

Oh no they're definitely not Sycamore. Those are still very green here, and the leaves are quite different. Pretty sure they're Norway

Good morning, just a few from me today as I'm off to my daughters to do some more gardening.
My theme today is, 'not everything turns at the same time'.

Just got back from my daughter and son in laws garden and brought home a gift they bought me for doing their planting etc etc.
A note with it said, 'thanks Dad and we looked for one specifically with the root flare showing, Lol'.
Anyway, here is my new Jerre Schwartz and in photo 1, the root flare.

What a day is expected today as rain is forecast all day long. Foreboding skies when I took these few. Thought my Jordan was very strange looking with old leaves and still new growth.

Things are changing ever so slowly here. I finally got some free time today to seek out some leaves turning. Still plenty of green and some are getting crispy before changing. Did find some color on the Garnet, Grandma, Baldsmith, Autumn Moon, Tsuma Gaki, Sango and Tamuk. The Ariadne is still green and Harry is still red!

@dangerine49 good morning J, can I echo D @LoverOfMaples, I think it's the same everywhere this year, no matter what continent. But it does give us all a talking point...... Even Harry looks very Summer like.

It's a lovely bright Autumnal morning here in Southern England, dry and a bit chilly which after yesterday's 18°C is a bit more normal.
I am having the same as many others on the Maples forum as in new growth, bare trees and Autumn colours. Quite disappointed in some that have just gone from Summer to brown curled up leaves.
But here are a few that have done reasonably well.

Picking up speed with 'Green Cascade' now. Last year at this stage all the leaves were blown off.

@wind-borne So at least something good to come out of this year G, after everything you have had to face in Oregon. Lovely colours!!! The greens are so special in the maple world.
