Changes in Hardiness Zones

    All,

    This may not be news to everyone, but can be a handy tool for everyone. The Arbor Day Foundation has posted a map showing the difference between 1990 USDA hardiness zones and hardiness zones as they appear in 2006. In effect, it is an update to the 1990 base map.

    Go to Arbor Day Foundation at: http://www.arborday.org/media/map_change.cfm where they invite you to download a high resolution map to your desktop. Not to be political about it, but whether or not you believe in global warming, this set of maps has some very interesting evidence.
