Hi all, newbie here. We've had ongoing problems with chafer beetles. Covered 1/2 the lawn with a few inches of soil a few months go - not related to the beetle problem. This morning there were ~50 odd holes in the very flat soil ( not earthworms) ..assuming it is now chafer beetles emerging? Covered the said area with painters plastic sheeting. Are there any studies done as to the date/timing/humidity as to when these critters emerge/mate? TIA!
