    Hello,

I'm interested in identifying this plant that is climbing my fence so I can know more about it, whether it is considered invasive, etc. I think it's a vine, as it has hooked tendrils, although it may be a vine-like shrub, as the base of the plant is woody and pretty thick. The young new leaves are reddish, and turn green as they get bigger. Most of the stems are reddish.

Assuming I used this chart correctly, the leaves are bipinnate, with serrated margins, petioled attachments, and opposite leaf arrangements.

    Thanks for your help!

Thank you! That's exactly what it is. For the search engines and anyone interested, the common name is peppervine.
