I have 2 30+ foot cedars in my back yard (Sierra foothills) and one of them has a problem. The green growth is turning brown on the lower branches - not from the tips, but browning/dying toward the tips of the branches (some of the branches have nothing but dead growth). What is causing this and what can be done to stop it? (The other tree, no more than 10 feet away, seems fine).
