I have a 10yr old cedar hedge -8plants- that is compact pyramidal form. It looks great, full, green but I noticed it is very very sticky this year. There is even sap all over the hosta infront of one of the plants.
I don't remember feeling any sap on these plants in the past so I'm concerned that I might have a serious problem.
If it is not normal what should I do?
This hedge is an important screening to the adjacent property.
    Thanks for you help
