  1. Hey there, im a newbie to Vancouver Island, freshly transplanted from the prairies, and well, i've got a lot of that prairie ignorance unfortunately. but, what im looking for, is the best suitable hedging material, evergreen of course, growing to around 10 or so feet, i will be sheering it on an annual basis as to keep it in line. but i'd also like it to grow fast, if at all possible. and be it that i was a poor prairie boy not to long ago, i need a good cheap place to get them, preferable around the 3 to 6 foot height! soo yeah, any input would be greatly appreciated.. thanks muchly.. Ks :)

Cheap = small, not 3-4 ft. high. Thuja plicata cultivars are prevalent in Vancouver area. Look for 1 gallon pot size at supermarkets, big boxes, or (preferably) direct from local grower.
