Cedar Appears to be Dying

    At least I think it's a cedar. Haven't noticed the browning at all until today, so I think it's happened fairly quickly.

    Can anyone tell what's going on with the attached photos? Thanks!

    Not a cedar (Cedrus); it's actually a California Incense-cedar (Calocedrus decurrens), a type of cypress. Hard to tell from your pics if it is OK or not, it may just be the old foliage dying off, which is normal. If the new foliage at the branch tips is also browning off at all, then it's in trouble.
