I decided to dig up and move one of my Ceanothus trees to a large pot. Unfortunately, it has started to wilt. All of its leaves have drooped. I think it is dying! Does anyone have any idea how I might be able to save it. I would appreciate any help you may have.
    Thanks in advance!

They don't move at the best of times, so i think its almost certainly going to die.

water and pray is about all you can do.

And definitely keep it in total shade until it (hopefully) recovers from the wilting.

Thank you so much for the fast reply! I am very worried about it at the mo, as nearly all of its leaves are wilted. It has been in the pot now, for 3 days, and has not shown any signs of recovery. The tree is in a semi-shaded position, and only gets sun from about 5.00pm onwards; although we are South facing, and we do get alot of sun I decided to put the tree in its pot on my patio that is pretty shaded when the umbrella is put up. just keeping misting the leaves in hope that it responds. *fingers crossed*. I don't hold out much hope though. I just wish there was something I could do for it.
    Thanks again!
