Hey everyone, here is my original post. My affected tree isnt a citrus. Its a Murraya paniculata but it is infected with the Asian Citrus Psyllid. There really isnt that many ressources out there for someone dealing with that pest in a non-commercial/small setting. I only have 1 tree, and its at home. Anyway, i was asking for your help because maybe some of you Citrus guys have had to deal with that pest. So far, all i have is this: have any of you tried this? i really need your help. I dont want to loose my tree! thanks!
I would spray it with a good insecticide and then treat it with Bayer Advanced tree & shrub. That should kill any insects feeding on the tree. http://www.bayeradvanced.com/product/12-month-tree-and-shrub-protect-and-feed/concentrate.html
Hmmm, what would be a good insecticide? I have absolutely no experience with that. Can I do that even if my tree is inside? Thanks for the bayer link.
From the amount of insects on that tree, I would close off that room and try a bug fogger then start the Bayer treatment. http://www.spectracide.com/ProductCategories/IndoorInsecticide/BugStopFogger/
