What does brown leaves mean on a potted camelia bush?

What and when should I fertilize with?

    Thank you!

Lack of water may be one reason but it may be leaf dropping because of over watering. Pots standing in plates of water The ones here grow in a very deep acidic soil and are in a rich composty soil. Could they have got sunburned? Found a site that suggested chemical burns from too much fertilizer. I just use bone meal once a year. Try repoting in free draining composty soil and keep damp not wet
