This year's Cardiocrinum going at it. I plant these in full sun, but with their bases in cover and there is about 50% shade time each day from trees at the periphery of the garden. The ones that do not bloom get ravaged by slugs but never seem to mind even when riddled with holes - I've never seen one killed that way.
