In The Garden: Can you tell me what type of tree this is?

This tree came up on it's own, changes to this beautiful color in fall, no seeds or berries ever, and seems to have a main single stalk with leaves on top. I love it, but would like to know what it is. I'm in Osoyoos, BC.

thanks so much, I think you are right, leaves look like it, although may need to be more mature to produce seeds and blooms...will keep an eye on it, :)
