Hi, I live south of Houston TX and this flowering plant grows every where in my yard. Hard to keep it under control. It can grow up to 5 ft. if I do not cut it back. It has a woody stalk, deep green heart shaped leaves and a light purple flower.
I would love to know the name of it!!! Thanks for any help you can give me.

The leaf looks like a Penta. Where I live it would be an annual, but in south Houston it would probably live all year. Try looking up the Penta plant pics
