Can you name this bush?

I purchased this plant at WalMart about 4 years ago and planted it in front of my apartment. It has grown FAR FAR beyond what the long lost tag said it would! I have bought a house and need to transfer the plant. I understand knowing which type of plant it actually is could make a difference in whether it survives the move. And I must move it tomorrow!!!

It has been suggested that it may be a hibiscus but I am doubtful and cannot find a picture of a hibiscus with maple shaped leaves and purple flowers that are pinched near the center as these are. I've never seen this bush anywhere else.

Can you help solve the mystery? Is this, indeed, a hibiscus family member or perhaps something else?

    I am attaching 3 pictures:
    1) a full view with a door beside it to give you an idea of its size.
    2) a close up of the flowers and leaves for better detail.
    3) a look at the interior/base of the bush (yes it needs cleaning).

Thanks in advance for your help!

Mallow, don't know which one. Part of the hybiscus family. I had sylvestrus and used to whack it back severely each fall. It will also self seed so watch it.

Oh thank you SO much! I can't believe how quick that was! Thanks to your suggestion of Mallow, I was able to find it exactly:

    Lavatera bicolor (maritima)

    Thanks!
