I have a small tree, approximately 3 years old.I forgot what it is.An evergreen with bipinnate glossy leaves.Seven leaflets at one stem.Hope the picture is enough for identification.
Not all species are dentate/serrate and not all species (or specimens)are prickly. http://www.cybertruffle.org.uk/vinales/eng/zanthoxylum_pimpinelloides.htm
Dear Saltcedar:I still hesitate to name it because Zanthoxylum is not common in our country.I always collect edible exotic plant seeds but I am not familiar with Zanthoxylum.I suspect if its an anacardiacae specy. I always write over the pot,but sometimes when seed germinate lately, pot soil is used in another pot and I cannot able to follow it!
