This very neglected indoor plant has just flowered. Can anyone identify it for me? It has simple long fleshy leaves rounded at the tip, these are opposite each other. I think it is quite a common indoor plant. This has been on our kitchen windowsill for years barely surviving and has just produced this spectacular flower.
Can you post a picture of the plant itself (rather than just the flower) just not quite so close up, so we can see how the whole plant grows?

hmm canit be a type of Clivia ??.. the leaves look like it .. but i thought the flowers looked alil different unless there is different flowers that go with it .. Marn
