This pink flower is clearly of the Pea Family, but I can't find a photo online to accurately identify it. I believe it is a cultivated variety of flower (locust???) but so far remain stymied. It was growing in a neglected front garden of a home formerly owned by a person or persons involved in local garden tours. The location was Coombs, British Columbia along the Aberni Highway... I've been offered the opportunity to have as much of the plant as I want, as the new owner is flattening everything and having boulders stuck on top. I however do not know how this plant feels about being transplanted, or how to otherwise propagate it---cuttings/division etc? Thank you so much!!!!
Looks loke Coronilla varia. Common name crown vetch. http://images.google.com/images?q=C...1I7SUNA_en-GB&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi http://images.google.com/imgres?img...n-gb:IE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7SUNA_en-GB&sa=N&um=1
Has also been a big bank of it on the east side of the freeway south of Vancouver in the past, coming north it's just before you drop down onto the river flats. Have not been up there for year but probably at least part of planting is still there.
