Can you help identify a specific hedging cedar?

As these three pictures show, we need to replace a piece of a large cedar hedge and would like to match the original. Can anyone identify this hedge from the photos? (I've compared it with Thuja Occidentalis Emerald Smargard, and it's foliage is flatter.) Do you know where we might purchase a replacement? Many thanks.

Might be one like 'Techny'. Thing is, if there is something wrong with the soil replacement specimen might die also. Need to figure out what the problem is first.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

There's no mystery for us about the cause of this cedar's death. We wanted to put in a sidewalk, so took out a couple of cedars and tried to put the end one back at the end of the shortened hedge. But, even with watering and fertilizing, it didn't take. It was worth a try, though.

Take sprigs to nearby independent outlets and see if any match. If same cultivar not on local market at present may have to order through the mail. But you won't want to be shipping in a big one.

Otherwise have to root cuttings from your own hedge and wait for replacement to grow up to size.
