    Hello,

The contractors next door dropped a fence panel into our garden, breaking an established rhodo almost off at the ground level. Will the root ball redevelop any greenery, given a few years? Can the branches be encouraged with root stimulator to start a new plant? This was received from a dear friend's garden when they passed away. I'd like to do whatever I can to salvage as much of it as possible.

    With thanks,
    Krista

It's a bit early in the year, I think, for cuttings -- but that might be the only option. @Ron B , what do you think?
